How I Really Feel By: Dean Sadness  Sadness is the color of tear blue It happens when I am anxious or when I get yelled at. It sounds like a cry for help It smells like salt Sadness.  Anxiety It smells like pepper It taste like dirt It sounds like hurtfulness   It feels like I'm breaking down. It looks like I’m dying Anxiety.

EMOTION POETRY By: Ryker Sadness Sadness is as blue as the Atlantic sea  It happens whenever people hurt you  It sounds like a long silence, then a shriek and crying It smells like rotten flowers and pool water Sadness. Happiness It smells sweet It tastes like cotton candy  It sound like giggles of friends It feels warm and soft It looks perfect Happiness.

Two Different Worlds By: Ralynn Sadness Is a dark gray cloud on a warm day  It's an unexpected feeling, like a storm on a perfectly clear day  It's like taking a fresh breath of air only to smell vinegar The crackle of lightning after thunder Sadness is overwhelming.  Love  Is the color of a field filled with flowers  It happens when a spark starts between two lost souls  It's like stepping into a candle store  It's like hearing rain on an old tin roof It's like a kid walking into a candy store  Love is blind and breathtaking. 

EMOTION POETRY By: Payton My emotions are like water I'll bottle up my feelings  It’s like a wave of water  Crashing on me  And I feel as if I were sinking in  Now I can’t see as I sink more. I can't even see the light that shines bright  but trying to swim out will not do  and more I try to the more it swallows me  I need to express them, but can’t  I could never express them even if I could   and I keep drowning in the abyss of water  as I sink more the light of the sun fades away.

JOURNAL -  YOU ARE A SPY DISGUISED AS A BIRD WATCHER By: Johnnie  One bright, beautiful, but suspiciously quiet day at the park, a woman named Francis was taking a stroll, observing the pretty trees and plants that surrounded her. She walked over to a bench under what she thought was a stunning oak tree. She admired the smell of the earthy air. She took a deep breath and decided to take a seat and relax under the tree. Suddenly something hit her in the back of the head. It was a little note in the shape of a paper airplane.  It read “ Meet back at this exact spot at exactly 10:30 pm sharp for a surprise.”  She felt it was an obvious trap, but she couldn’t help the feeling she really needed to go. Should College Athletes Get Paid? By: Leland Should college athletes get paid? In my opinion, they shouldn’t get paid. If they get a scholarship, they’re basically getting paid, just for their education.  If they don't get a scholarship, they obviously have to pay. The only thing they shouldn’t have to pay for is medical expenses. If an athlete gets injured in the pros they have the money to pay for it, but in college, that isn’t the case. So what I'm saying is the college program should have to pay for the athletes medical expenses resulting from a game.

Over here we have three rooms and three bathrooms.  Now, please follow me to the basement. In here you get dragons, mythical foxes, and fairies. Now, please follow me to the attic. You see, it’s like the forest, but you have flowers and butterflies. If the flowers die, don’t worry, they will come back to life. My Cat By: Jenna  You and I are bonded  Like the snow that falls    when it stops, we fall, too it was Like a never-ending call that said "I will be there for you" It might be off and on, sad or happy  It might fall on the wrong person But I will always be there  Like a bunch of white flowers  That gain colors  Eyes that sparkle like a frozen lake  That feeling like when you touch cotton      Soft, but sharp  Lonely, but lovely  Smells like ocean   Fresh and blue Cute and calm  Sweet and spiritual   She's Sour candy  the only one I want to touch  The one I want to spend my life with  And just my best friend 

  Camera By: Ryker I look at this camera as it sits I pick it up hitting the on button and all of reality pops up Picture or video it stands  The metal of the camera is cold and it takes a minute to get used to It has such a memory to it  So much has been captured  Whether it be for my world history or drama Some are just family photos An object like it holds so much history  It has a bit of wear and tear  In it’s semi damaged state it still holds  It’s shutter everytime you click the button is beautiful The eye may have scratches but it still has the right vision needed  It has a legacy to it Just like us all From filming weddings To sequels  It will be there right by my side It is a part of me And will never go away
