EMOTION POEM - HAPPINESS & HATRED - OLIVER

EMOTION POETRY

By: Oliver

Happiness

Similar in color to rays from the sun on a grassy field

It happens when you’re around people you enjoy, doing things you enjoy

It sounds like a choir singing softly, but with devotion

Smells like fresh baked bread wafting from the kitchen

Happiness.

Hatred

It smells like stale air

Tastes like copper and iron

Sounds like a scream of rage from the very depths of one's soul

It feels like being engulfed flames you cannot control

It looks like a hulking demon born to destroy

Hatred is inevitable and chaotic.
