ELEGY - TORI
The breath may slow, the path may grow dim,
But faith still anchors in the deep.
The understanding of one
That doesn’t have to run.
The promises are forgotten, bonds are broken,
The truth is spoken.
The laughter dies down,
The beautiful town turns to a ghost town.
A voice that was once vociferous,
A kind luctiferous.
And when your roads end, we will meet again,
But this time in the Pearly White Gates.
