 Dear 8th grade Lynn

In 8th grade there is a lot of drama and hard times with kids in your class. You have kids yelling all the time and getting in trouble from yelling all the time. When you are in class when you are trying to work in peace but you can not get it because everyone is yelling. You are in class trying your best to do good. You will try your best but you can not do well.

You tried your best, that is all that matters you did not do as well as your parents wanted to not listen to them you did what you could. With the drama you lose some friends only the ones that dragged you down. The friends that matter stayed with you all the time and helped each other out during the fighting and yelling. Just try your best and it will be okay. You will do amazing.

You just need to try your best and you will do fine. Do not let anyone tell you want to do because if you listen to people all the time you will not do what you want and you will not be happy. You will do fine, try your best and be happy it will work out in the end.

I’m sure you’ve had at least one person give you a weird look, even though you don’t know who they are or who they are. They just judged you on appearance. They believe in a stereotype. Regardless of this, or how common it is, there is no such thing as a universally true stereotype. This is a simple belief, and even if people disagree, they cannot prove it wrong. It is a fact. You can say all people of [group] are [thing], but you’re wrong. If you’re right, it’s not a stereotype. And if it’s not a stereotype, it's not an issue. It is then not an opinion, which may be offensive, put simply. If I said “All adults are rude,” I’d be wrong. That’s a simple stereotype. Point out even a single outlier, and you’ve proven someone wrong in their stereotypical beliefs.
